Joyously Raw Villas - Free Room Upgrade Subject to Availability

We were warmly welcomed on arrival after 11pm and shown to our rooms. From that moment staff were available via whatsapp to offer any assistance or service we might need. Quiet room even though the place is on a main road. The pool outside our front gate is wonderful and felt like it was ours alone to enjoy.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. Just be aware that a steep staircase needs to be navigated in order to reach the property.

Our stay at Joyously Raw Villas was truly memorable. The service was outstanding, with the staff always attentive and willing to go the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. Their genuine kindness and positive attitude created a very welcoming atmosphere. The team’s predisposition to help with every detail made the experience seamless, from check-in to daily assistance with recommendations and arrangements. It was clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. Breakfast was another highlight – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, a perfect start to each day. The quality and variety exceeded expectations, showing the same care and dedication that defines the entire stay at Joyously Raw Villas.

As for areas of improvement, breakfast is not available on Sundays, which could be slightly inconvenient for guests expecting the same consistency throughout the week. Also, bedside lamps would be a welcome addition for more comfortable evening lighting, and the hairdryer could be upgraded to provide a better experience. These are minor details, but addressing them would make the stay truly flawless.

20 minutes from the Royal Palace; to return to the hotel the road is dark, the sidewalk not walkable, and it is uphill.

Petit déjeuner raffiné, gentillesse du personnel, grand espace et lit confortable.

Proche du centre mais nécessaire un scooter ou taxi pour rejoindre le centre ville la nuit. pas à faire à pied.

This place was an ubud dream! Absolutely loved it! A slice of heaven! So peaceful and beautiful as it’s high up and set back! Huge room and amazing staff! I love that this place is just sett out of the busiest area and near beautiful hiking and the rice paddies. Also near other amazing restaurants like eden! Great pool and grounds to relax on!

I can’t personally fault it! Only thing is that you’ll need to walk a big staircase to get to it. So not the place if you’re not very mobile, not the place. But if you don’t mind stairs- this place is the best!!!

C'est une agréable surprise de découvrir notre chambre attenante à la piscine.

Nous étions inquiets à l'arrivée car l'hôtel en façade est en travaux. Il n'y a rien. Il faut monter plusieurs marches très hautes pour enfin accéder à cet hôtel pas visible de la rue.

Charming villa with the kindest, most amazing staff ! Wonderful hospitality. Bonus, there’s a delicious organic cafe complete with a beautiful garden to fuel your day.

The most helpful, lovely and caring staff! Melly and her team looked after us very well throughout our stay. A money exchange place close to the hotel ripped me off on our last day here and Melly fearlessly took me over and negotiated him giving me my money back. It was more than i expected as it seems pretty common in bali that money exchangers run this scam. It was above and beyond great service. Lovely spacious room, big comfortable bed and huge outdoor bathroom. Great location just a 10 minute walk into central ubud. Peaceful as you cannot hear road noise so feels like you are in the jungle. Great pool too.

The bathroom door could do with being able to be locked from the inside as well as outside. However, very secure and safe place to stay as the front entry door of the building is locked each evening and staff are aware of who comes in and out during the day so very, very safe location.
