The Cottage at Ashbrook - Charming Country Cottage near Belfast

It was immaculately presented. Attention to detail was exceptional. Carol & Bill are fantastic hosts who go above and beyond to ensure guests in their beautiful cottage have the best stay possible. There was nothing to dislike. Everything was fantastic.

The property is ideally situated as a base to explore the city of Belfast. The Ards peninsula and Strangford Loch are easily accessible and the closeness to the motorway network makes it ideal to explore, south, west and north. Hosts Carol and Bill were very friendly and helped us source a picture similar to the one hanging in the cottage. This shows a montage of Belfast landmarks and made a great 47th wedding anniversary present for my wife who grew up in the city. The bottle of bubbly was much appreciated as well.

Nothing to dislike

Absolutely everything has been thought of, the place is spotlessly clean and the hosts are the nicest and most helpful people.

Great location, remote, quiet and very peaceful. The hosts, Carol & Bill were lovely too, very welcoming and helpful. The property was spotless. We will fully recommend to anyone and would love to come back in the future.

The cottage is fantastically equipped and set in a beautiful rural location with stunning views over the countryside. Carol and Bill were incredible hosts and have ensured you have everything you need for your stay with them. They are attentive and proud hosts and so they should be, their cottage is stunning.

There was nothing that we did not like.

We are well travelled aprtment and house renters. This was perfect. Beautiful rural view. Attentive hosts. Modern and wonderfully furnished house. Quality towels, bedding. Well provisioned on arrival for snacks, tea etc. Spotlessly clean. Warm and plenty of hot water. Lovely surrounding gardens. Privicy. Short drive to Belfast (car essential) and other tourist areas. We cant say thank you enough for our stay. Wonderful.

Everything was great, might sound cliche but it was the perfect getaway. Just out of town and accessible via train and a short walk through beautiful roads with northern Irish meadows all around you. Our hosts, Bill and Carol were fantastic and always went above and beyond for us. The actual location is stunning with beautiful views and extremely relaxing. We will absolutely visit again!
