Kiruna Accommodation Gustaf Wikmansgatan 6B, 6 Person Apartment

The appartment is nice and convenient. There is a big sofa to gather around and the sauna is a nice plus even if it is not really hot. The bus stop is close.

The owners weren't really helpful as we asked if we could let our luggages before the check in and they said no. The apartment isn't in the new city center so it wasn't convenient as there is no solution to let the luggages near by the apartment.

The property is in a quiet and peaceful location of Kiruna with walking distance to Coop supermarket, swimming pool, sports hall, and bus stop. Our kids played in snow just outside in a safe fenced area and sledding down the street which was not busy with cars at all. Most importantly, the host is a great. We requested early check-in as we had early morning flight and kids. It was -20 day. They let us check-in early.

The location is otherwise far from new town, may be a few bus stops so not a big deal. There's not much happening around the property other than the pool and sports nall which is walking distance.

The aparment was clean- except for one cuppoard, that smelled really bad.

Kitchen lacked a lot of small essential stuff for cooking. Sauna had no cover for the seats and only had a bucket with holes in it for the water. We are still not sure if the sauna was shared with the other apartment, and if they could have barged in any moment when we were in the sauna. They charge extra for heating your car motor, with was stated nowhere on their site on booking.com. When asked about it they were rather ominous and told us we don't need to pre-heat our car although it was minus celcius degrees and snowing at the time of our stay. Pre-heating your car is very essential in the arctic environment, so charging extra by not telling beforehand is not ok. The door to the bathroom would not lock and the smell of oil is prominent on the premises.
