Y Golchdy, cottage style cabin, with spa hot tub, veranda & spectacular views

We loved everything. Our stay was part of our honeymoon trip and Ruth made sure to make it extra special for us. It was really very special. The cottage is so cozy, so beautiful and heartwarming. We had the most warm welcome from Ruth and her husband and three beautiful days staying there. The little house has everything you can wish for and a bit more. Attention to detail is everything and Ruth is an expert when it comes to that matter. It was raining all the time we spent in Wales so we spent much time in the cottage, enjoying every bit of it and also the brand new terrace, where we had lunch cooked by us while seeing the rain falling and under a warm blanket. It was beautiful. Thank you for everything, Ruth! PS. We also loved to receive Tegan's visit, she was the most sweet dog! Actually would love to see her little puppies that were about to be born. We would love to be back some day.

Very cosy, great views, welcoming hosts who provided a welcome hamper. Lovely to have a fire. Very well equipped kitchen with bonus sweets and biscuits too. Great location several attractions easy drive away.

getting a bit wet when going to the shower room (accessed by outside door) and the tap in the shower room sink is to big gets in way when washing your face/ brushing your teeth

Perfect for what I needed. Kitchen was well equipped and space for me to work. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was perfect too.

Beautiful, cozy cottage on a peaceful and tranquil property. We loved the romantic base to explore Brecon Beacons and do a bit of hiking. The extra basket of goodies on arrival was also very much appreciated!

Absolutely perfect !!!!! The cabin was lovely, really cosy and a pleasure to stay in. Sitting outside with a cuppa with a perfect view just made our stay even more special . Our host left a lovely hamper on our arrival, which is a great touch, and Ruth was so welcoming , warm , approachable and friendly. It’s put together with love … and it 100% shows 👍🏻

lovely setting, lots of attention to detail and very clean and comfortable

It’s quiet and remote, it’s approximately a mile from the village and 5-6 miles to the nearest small town

Nothing as such, you do have to pop out to the bathroom but not a huge issue

The place was very homely and equipped with everything needed. Ruth made us a wonderful homemade pizza on the first night and left us an incredible basket with fresh bread and scones. The view is incredible and the cabin is very private. Would definitely recommend!

The quirkiness of it. The hosts were so kind and helpful. They brought a lovely basket of goodies to welcome me. I really only used it as a base for a wedding near by but would definitely visit again and just recharge as it was so relaxing there. Easy to check in and out as well.
