"Great homestay close to Newcastle"

Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Property is at the end of the hilltop village with lovely views of the valley. Kitchen is well appointed and we appreciated the washing machine!

Everything was great - 11/10 would recommend!

Very nice cottage, in peaceful area. Not far from lovely town of Hexham. Cottage was to a very nice standard, my mother didn't even have any complaints!

The bunk beds are very close together, certainly wouldn't want to sleep in them again as an adult.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Old Post Office. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The accommodation was charming, impeccably clean, and well-equipped, making it the perfect retreat after our adventures. We spent our days exploring the stunning surroundings, visiting Alnwick with its incredible castle and gardens, wandering through the quaint streets of Rothbury, and enjoying the beautiful coastal views at Tynemouth and St. Mary’s Lighthouse. Kielder Forest was a breathtaking escape into nature, offering incredible walks and wildlife spotting. The location of The Old Post Office was ideal—peaceful yet perfectly positioned to explore the best of Northumberland. The hosts were fantastic, ensuring everything was just right for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable family getaway.

"Great Base for a Northumberland Stay"

Location is perfect. Excellent pub for food & drink minutes walk away. Owners responded to questions very quickly.

Would have been good to have the access details pre sent, so I knew the access code & key box location in advance.
