Good location and nice quiet area. The apartment was equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay

Personal touch from the owner who met us with the keys/relevant information to enter and stay in the property. Location for our wedding was perfect and suited us (family of 6) perfectly

Apartment/owners above were very loud, which sadly the owner can’t control. We returned just after midnight from the wedding but the noise from above was still very loud and the beam in the hallway has a small part cut out/missing from it and this seemed to allow the noise the travel down into the apartment. The main bathroom toilet stopped working in the morning (continuously running water) so we had to use the upstairs bathroom. When we attempted to use the microwave, it started to smoke so we quickly turned it off and opened windows. We informed the owner and he did say that he would rectify the issues, which we are confident in as he was excellent.

Very convenient for york city centre

Beautiful apartment. Spacious and clean. Owner was very informative and approachable. Clear, simple instructions for self check in.

Location, walkable into main city area

We arrived late to the apartment due to a Ghost tour. When we arrived around 7pm, the apartment was freezing due to all the windows being open and no heating on. It was an awful raining day and the rain had wet the floors. We could not get the heater to work in the hall way and the heater in the top bedroom was not working. However there was a portable heater in its place. We used this to try and heat the rest of the rooms. Due to the very bad weather we did not make it to the food shop to get some milk for teas and coffee. It would have been nice if a pint to milk was left for us. Other than that, the apartment was fine but some extra comfortable seating as there was enough for 6 people. I had to sit on a kitchen chair.
