A TV is key

Perfect place for someone who is looking for a quiet area. The rooms were very nice and nicely decorated. Cutlery was available at the kitchen for use and as a bonus I was provided with a speaker to cater for the Tv that is not available

That there was no TV, WiFi to connect as I was working from the guesthouse. Also there is no remote control for the gate as one has to manually open it

I liked that it was located at a peaceful environment with lots of nature that we really enjoyed staring. Loved those arcs with lights in the evening as well as the braai area. The cottage was very nice and well decorated. Loved that happy birthday sash🤣🤣

Didn’t like the fact that there was no broom or mop to just clean up the place as it was dusty and we had to spend the entire weekend. The shower seemed to have a problem throughout our entire stay, we had to resort to using the basin because water came out perfectly from there. Also didn’t like the fact that there was no TV but the speaker that we found made up for it. They could add some pots as part of kitchen utensils.

If you're looking for a quick escape from the busyness of life, this place is perfect for you. Your mind will instantly feel at peace from the moment you drive through the gate.

The water pressure is slightly low but that wasn't a big deal for us because we still had water anyway. It's also on the outskirts of Potch so come prepared with everything you need. But the host went the extra mile and drove us to town to get things we needed. Other than that, I honestly can't fault this place. I'm definitely looking forward to going back.

The water pressure in the basin was very weak. Just a trickle.

The room was clean and comfortable.

The road to the place was terrible, the fact that we had to keep calling to enquire about water, about this and that. - No shower gels/soap/ shower cap - No milk for tea - The fact that we were expected to book two days before to get breakfast/lunch… I think it’s better to put this disclaimer on bookings.com. - The washing/drying kitchen towel was wet and didn’t smell good at all.
