Escape to the Cabin

Lovely spacious property . Very well equipped ,it had everything we needed. We were very lucky with weather and made good use of the outdoor seating . Very peaceful location . Everyone we met in the vicinity were friendly.

Perfect place to explore Cavan. Close to many amenities and sights. Lovely cabin with lots of space. Pet friendly.

Location was superb, quiet and a quick walk down to the beautiful river and the jetty. Next time we will bring our kayak. The people there some who lived there were very friendly and some that were staying also, amenities great, plenty of space to sit out and enjoy the views. Belturbet is a lovely village, down on the river that flows by the property. It is has a marina and a lovely river walk called the Mill Walk, plus good places to eat and drink with or without Dogs. We ate in the Castle Pub which loved Dogs. Good Food and Drink especially the Black stuff. Happy to help and mix up a Mocktali for my daughter aged 11.

Could do with a couple of torches/candles in the property and some emergency numbers and some local walks, they have a great map of the Irish Lakes but some local walks would be good, also good eateries for those with Woofs. Other than that superb. We just googled stuff and found places to eat and drink and walk locally but we have stayed in the area before.

The hosts are incredibly helpful from booking right up until your stay. The lodge was perfect for us, very well equipped, spacious, and in a beautiful location. Such a peaceful area and perfect for us to use as a base to explore. My family, dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was lovely and well-equipped, with everything we needed. Our hosts were amazing and very welcoming, providing all the necessary information for check-in and checkout with ease. The spacious cabin is perfect for a family or group of friends, and we particularly enjoyed using the BBQ grill on a sunny day. The kitchen was fully stocked, including condiments and basic supplies for cooking and baking, which is a great convenience for a self-catering stay. Thank you, Fergal and Margherita, for the wonderful stay and the warm reception, complete with fire logs to keep us cozy.

That we hadn't booked for longer, we will definitely book longer next time

I would recommend that if you arrive to the property its best to arrive during the daylight hours as the Location has many houses that actually look the same to avoid any confusion
