Amazing Ocean View!

The location was Amazing...just like the view. Perfectly located between wonderful beaches, a grocery store and food trucks within walking distance. It was quiet, peaceful and heavenly, just like the sunsets. The amenities had EVERYTHING you could possibly want for a comfortable stay. Fully stocked kitchen with extra modern appliances, BBQ, coffee makers and french press, high end blender for those smoothies, popcorn maker, plenty of nice linens, toys, bikes, surf boards, snorkels, chairs, towels and all the extra's for the beach. I appreciate all the extra care given to ensuring that our stay was wanting for nothing. We sat out on the deck and watched whales in the morning and sipped our wine to beautiful peaceful sunsets at night. We appreciated meeting our Host and he obviously cares a great deal about his home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

The linens in the home are a bit dated with wear and perhaps beach weather, but the home was immaculately clean and stylishly decorated. It is located up against old lava flow so there is not a sandy beach to step out onto but a short walk down the rocks or the street, and you're there. I wouldn't recommend the North Shore in general if you are looking for mild, calm "kid's" beaches as these oceans are known for their HUGE waves. However there are a couple of little tide pools in the area for the babies if its high tide. I also wouldn't recommend this home for those who would be challenged walking up stairs as the main home is up a large flight of them and the lower level also has a small flight.

View, view, view. Amazing to wake up to. Rooms were comfortable - house well equipped.

The size of the bed in the second bedroom could be larger - maybe even a King.

Loved the location and what an amazing view of the ocean to wake up to every morning! It truly made our trip even better!

The exterior of the house was outdated and door had a huge gap in it when closed. AC unit in the downstairs room wasn’t really working as well but thankfully we mostly stayed in the upstairs unit of the house.

This house can’t be more ideal; it is not a only beautiful house with all what you need, very comfortable and with a very nice surfing style, but location can’t be better; the views to the ocean are just unbelievable, with the mountains at the back; you have a tide pools in front that are pretty much private since the access is through the houses that are there, and with low tide there is even a little beach with sand; you can walk to Sharks Cove which is great for swimming and snorkeling, and right there there is a supermarket with all what you need. Really the location can’t be better, and the house is gorgeous. Check in was easy and communication was perfect for the little things we needed; ah, and they have a bunch of beach stuff (chairs, snorkeling gear, even sand toys for kids) that are so convenient when you fly and can’t bring any of that with you. Sleeping listening the sound of the waves and waking up which such an amazing view was awesome. Will do our best to be back!
