I thought it would be uncomfortable because it was dormitory-style room, but that wasn’t a case at all. On the contrary, I was able to make friends and gain valuable information.

It’s hard to find a downside.

The place is really comfortable and welcoming. It was a great experience to be able to stay in a cute neighborhood between locals. The area is great. There are shops and restaurants close by. The metro line is also close. The host was so so sweet and nice. He helped us with anything we needed, gave us advice, and cooked us delicious food. He was very accommodating. I wish we could have spent more time at his place! Thank you for giving us such nice and beautiful last couple of days in South Korea, Soo!

Soo, the guesthouse owner, is a great host! Keep in mind that he lives in one of the 3 rooms of the house, and he's super respectful and nice! As a solo traveler female, I felt really comfortable and safe in the place. The room is good, comfortable bed, Soo prepares breakfast and if he's available probably he'll invite you to do some local activities, like hiking and having dinner with his friends. Was a great experience and also the restaurants he recommends are cheap and really good!

Not super close to the metro station, you'll have to do some walking with your luggage/backpack, but nothing crazy. Bathroom could be a bit more cleaned, but overall the experience was good!

Soo was the nicest host! He made us good breakfast and gave many recommendations on what to see in Seoul. Thanks to him we learned how to make makgeolli! 😍 Location is good - the place is close to the subway so you can go anywhere in Seoul. There are many stores nearby. The house was quiet and clean 👍

The host Soo was very warm and kind. He took us to Namsan tower and we had an amazing time! Would definitely stay again when i come back to Seoul.

Everything was incredible! The location, the bed, the breakfast and the restroom. The sheet and pillow is quite clean (important for me) and restroom is wider than most hostels. Soo also helped me with early check-in, luggage storage after check-out, and willing to provide tour-guide and food delivery. Soo is so nice and considerate as a guesthouse host. He provides everything a traveler may need during their stay, and more can be provided if asked friendly and politely. It's actually hard to find such place around this price, enjoy it as a part of your adventurous trip!

SNU station is a bit far away from Hongdae, Anguk and other places that are northern, so if your major schedule is around northern place maybe this is not that suitable for you. However by the convenience of Subway, one can still reach to Hongdae in 40 min and other downtown area in an hour. Gangnam and SeongSu is even closer from here!
