Mode Hotel St Annes

The member of staff on duty for the breakfast was really nice and chatty very pleasant.

The receptionist who checked us in,not the nicest person we've ever met,no empathy,not interested in our issue with the room,very sharp and abrupt.

Excellent Hotel. Very clean . We had a sea view and balcony which was very nice .weather great so able to sit out . Even a small coffee maker so very pleased . Definitely book again

An excellent place to stay right in the heart of St Annes and within easy reach of the each/front and also the town itself. Very smart and clean hotel with a lovely vibe about it - quite 'European' in style with a very nice lounge / bar and seating area at the front. Lovely breakfast- for once, though described as continental, it really was exactly that with a wide variety of cold meats/ cheeses/ breads etc. Just right for our visit and we'd not hesitate to stay again

The room we had ( seaview) was very nicely appointed but perhaps a little small- may be the bigger seaview room might have been a better choice but thats a minor quibble and as much our fault for not choosing the right one.

Location was good

We booked a deluxe room with ‘land’ view. Definitely not a deluxe room and no land could be seen! Only walls, roofs and bins The furniture was tired and damaged, the lamps all broken and my bed was shocking. The mattress was so uncomfortable, noisy and no support , uneven like springs had gone! Didn’t manage to sleep much ( only 2 hours!) The staff only came in room to empty the bin in the bedroom but not the bathroom! They didn’t clean or tidy and didn’t even remake the beds. When checking out no one even asked if everything was ok or if we enjoyed our stay! No phone in the room as advertised. Not 4 star standard
