Le Port Guest House

New apartment units that are functional and comfortable. WiFi was fast and stable. Apartment was super clean with a relaxing patio in the back overlooking a small local beach. Bed was comfortable. AC unit was strong and cold. Complimentary Netflix. We did not cook big meals, only breakfast but the kitchen was properly stocked with utensils, plates, pans, and pots. You do need to bring your own seasonings. Location was close to the ferry port but far enough from the hectic center so very quiet. Most importantly, Marie and Michelle are an excellent team to welcome guests and ensure that their stay is enjoyable and relaxing. Many Thanks Marie and Michelle! 😁😘😘😘

The unit would be perfect if it had a washer, but Marie does provide laundry service so no big deal.

Marie Ann - the host - we have never met so kind and hospitable person. SHe welcomed us with cold towels and home made drinks and bites - which was quite refreshing . The following days we tried her fantastic cooking skills and she had many interesting stories to share about the Seychelles. She treats hers guests like family and sincerely wants everyone to have a fantastic stay in there. It was the best place to stay in the Seychelles and we would definetely visit again (when Marie Ann and her husband open the food kiosk/restaurant :) Thank you for everything Marie Ann! About the place: The location is 20min walk from the CatCocos -there is parking and there are shops around. The flat is just above the water which gives amazing experience to have your cofffee on the balcony. The flat is brand new everything renovated, great huge bathroom, kitchen has everything needed including coffee machine and drinking water provided by the host (which saves you carrying tons of water) There is huge smart TV connected to apps - so you can enjoy netflix or connnect to your laptop to the TV>

we really can't think of anything that can be improved . may be the only improvement we would be happy to see is to open food kiosk - where guests can enjoy Marie Ann fantastic meals and drinks.

Our room was beautifully prepared with lots of flowers, obviously it was perfectly clean. The kitchen was small, but well equipped, and the room was really modern and the nicely furnished. The large balcony was perfect for some relax after a long day. Marie Annette was the best host we ever met. She welcomed us with some nice cold drinks and delicious homemade delicacy on a hot day we arrived. Communication was really easy and quick and she made sure we feel ourselfes comfortable here. She also offered us optional dinner what we did not wanted to miss after tasting the welcome nougat's and of course she exceeded our expectations again. Thank you Marie! Highly recommended both the dinner and the guest house. You will not be disappointed. We wished we could stay longer.

There was nothing we didn't like actually. The jetty is no longer 200 meter away from the house, as it was relocated in 2023. Google maps location is also wrong.

I normally dont write too many reviews but this place deserves it. Modern and newly refurbished Le Port had everything you need for a self catering stay. The room was clean and cleaned every day. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need to cook and a shop opposite stocked with fresh and frozen food. I loved the balcony facing onto the mini beach, so calming, we ate our dinner there every night. Location is great as it is in the middle of the island and close to the ferry port. We walked one way which took 20 mins and got a taxi the other way which was less than 5 mins. Also there is a bus stop right outside so very convenient if you dont have a car to get around the island. Lastly the owners are so lovely and helpful! It was valentines day when we arrived so they made lovely deocration in our room and also gave us some delicious homemade sweet treats. We opted to have dinner cooked for us one night which was delicious. Highly recommend this place, i can guarantee you will not regret staying here!

Everything was great

The host gives a warm and generous welcome. I stayed in the largest room which is also the one with the largest terrace and closest to the water. Large bathroom and a kitchen with all you need, great with unlimited access to filtered water. This is a good location if you intend to visit both the northeast (Cote d'or) and southwest (Grand Anse) coastlines. The buses stop right outside the room and there is also a small grocery store. I really appreciate that the host arranged for me to go to Anse Georgette.

This is not about the host/place but a reminder for those not coming with a car; It's strongly recommended that you already arrange for a bus card before you arrive. This way you can move with ease to the different beaches, vallee de mai and similar sites. Also just for general information; although the place is rather close to the jetty I would not walk there since there is not a designated walking path.

Marie is extremely nice and accommodating. We spent our stay on the islands here. It couldn't be better! Thank you Marie!!! I'll be back!

It was amazing, like a little private hotel! Very clean, modern and freshly renovated. And Marie is the most nicest host! They clean every day, view and location are very good, rooms were fantastic and you should try Marie's dinner, it was delicious!

Location was great, close to the jetty, the owner arranged a car hire, she was very chatty and friendly, there's a tiny beach literally next door. Lovely clean apartment. Modern facilities. Endless water provided by the owners. On our last day, Christmas day, the owner turned up with homemade cookies and flapjacks and gave my husband and I presents! That was such a lovely touch.
