Winterton Country Lodge @ Rose Cottage

The accommodation was amazing, comfy, cosy, lovely décor. Everything was provided for us. My brother's accommodation was perfect for him too. It was lovely to have the choice of either sitting out in the swing chair at our place, sitting up for a meal under shelter together. Or popping around to my brother's cottage and sitting on the verandah, watching and listening to the variety of birds at the damn. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Especially Sipwe and Jeanise ( sorry not sure how to spell them). It was a luxury to have our clothes laundered and ironed, thank you. The setting was very pretty and peaceful. Thank you :)

We can't think of anything really and feel a bit picky but a light over the central area would have been helpful.

Great B n B to visit Winterton Area for Bird Sanctuary and Hot Air Ballooning. Room was very spacious and private and the property was in a great location. Highly recommend staying here for a short trip to Winterton/Drakensberg area. Lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by one night :)

Our room was some distance to the car park. A trolley or evwn a wheelbarrow would have made transporting luggage to the room easier

Das Rose Cottage liegt sehr gemütlich in einem kleinen Wald. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist perfekt!

Das Zimmer ist etwas hellhörig.

A beautiful room under a nut tree orchard. Good breakfast. Help full staff. And the cutest ginger cat. My absolute favourite place to stay in Winterton.

I would like faster internet, but for a small town in the farming area, the internet is really good. But nowhere close to what we have gotten use to in the city.
