Location, clean, perfection!

It was a light and spacious apartment in a beautiful building in central Monopoli. Pietro was always very quick to reply to messages. We had everything we needed and it was great to have a washing machine and a line to use to hang out clothes. There was a nice terrace there but we didn’t use it. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of wardrobe space. We also liked having breakfast at Cafe Napoli, just 1 minute’s walk away.

70 steps to get up to the apartment - so you have to be fit. . Noisy at times but it’s a great location near lots of restaurants and some bars There was a smell from the drains in the bathroom.

So central and luxurious. Host is very friendly and helpful. Beautifully furnished to the highest standards and really clean.

Found it noisy at night but one of the downsides to being right in the center of things.

The apartment is exactly how the photos show it. It is in an amazing location right at the top of the old town. The facilities in the apartment were excellent, coffee maker, microwave, two ring hob, large walk in wardrobe, comfy bed and a well laid out shower room. You also have use of the terrace located just outside the apartment which was lovely to sit out and soak up the Italian sunshine. The owner was lovely and kept in touch via WhatsApp, to let us in and help us with any issues if needed. Breakfast was provided at the Cafe Napoli just around the corner from the apartment, a croissant/cornetti and a hot drink. Monopoli old town is stunning, lots of restaurants and bars in cobbled streets, that are mostly traffic free. It felt a safe, family orientated place. Busy at the weekend but it was nice to watch everyone enjoying themselves. We loved it. Although the apartment is close to restaurants and shops, it is very quiet as it’s an old stone built building and you are at the top.

The 70 steps up to the apartment. Yes I counted them. But they would not put us off staying here again. The walk up is lovely past the old wooden doors of the other apartments, lots of plants and outside archways.

Hands down the best apartment we have ever stayed in during our many years of travelling. Located conveniently in the old town but in a quiet section. Everything was only a few minutes walk away. An easy walk from the station even with our large suitcases. Modern, spacious and very practical, this apartment had everything you needed. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom was large with a great shower. Pillows and bed were high quality and very comfortable. The laundry facilities were very handy. The terrace was huge and overlooked the church bell towers. Host was always available if we needed him and very accomodating. Overall 5 stars for this amazing apartment.
