Historic Corner Apartment with patio & off street parking

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights; our first trip to Portland. It was pretty awesome… the location, the owners/quick response, outdoor patio, very comfortable and clean.

The apartment was clean and was well decorated with a nice atmosphere. The main living room was airy and bright. The larger of the two bedrooms was nicely decorated and efficient in terms of storage. The sleeping quarters and beds in both rooms were also very comfortable. The kitchen was clean, modern, and had essentials. There was plenty of space for 4 people to enjoy their stay comfortably. It's a charming historic building with modern conveniences within walking distance to good amenities. We were so glad that the host is pet friendly so that we could bring our well behaved dog with us. She also enjoyed her stay.

Overall it was a good experience. A few things could have gone better. The supplies for the laundry room were almost out and they depleted before the end of our stay. Unfortunately the dryer was not drying our clothing. The host was responsive about the dryer but ultimately it could not be corrected while we were visiting. The host offered to take our things to the laundry mat but this solution could not work for us due to our schedule and time constraints. I think it might be important to note that the part of the building that we resided in had the two bedrooms in the finished basement portion. We were unaware of the stairs, which are typically a concern with a toddler. Regardless, we had a nice time here.

Great location, nice kitchen, the upstairs windows let in lots of natural light.

Even after I contacted them about how we were freezing, I never saw the thermostat go above 65 and I saw it go as low as 57. The beds and sofas and floors and chairs were all covered with dog hair, which got over all our clothes and the rest of our stuff. When we checked in, the downstairs door to the outside was completely unsecured and the downstairs bathroom smelled like pee. An easy fix: install some kind of hook in the downstairs bathroom- there was nowhere to hang a hand towel.

A lovely location, only 10-ish mins walk to the main part of downtown/ the waterfront, yet super quiet at night. The apartment is gorgeously presented and very well equipped. We loved our stay. Easy to access, super-friendly and helpful hosts. Easy parking right by the apartment entrance. We hope to return!
