Bathroom looked nice but was freezing cold day and night

Where to start? Advertised as free breakfast, charged us £5 each. Heating only comes on when you verbally tell the landlady your in the accommodation. Bed is 4 and a half foot long, my partner is 6ft so had to sleep with his legs through the bars at the end of the bed. The bed and bedding is from the 50s by the looks and smell of it. Going into the pub , makes you feel like your walking into someone's front room. The landlady has her spot at a table at the front , with her vape on it ( which she and others happily vape in the pub) she has her biscuits and keys/glasses etc on her table surrounded by her friends. So if you want a drink or food, get ready for the attitude that you have disturbed her chat with her mates. Also no hot water when you wake up in the morning, as the heating is turned off and the bathroom is so cold your get pneumonia trying to shower in the morning. Finally the outside area is a dumping ground, old soggy trainers, broken bottles, a million plant pots with dead plants in. Honestly, the worse B and B we have every stayed in.

Great price, lovely room, modern bathroom, comfy bed.

It was very cold when we got there after a prior engagement. Before that it was very warm. We would like to stay again, but the heating is a big factor in looking for accommodation.

Freezing cold with no heating. Such bad standards we had to leave and get another hotel!!!

Very clean and really friendly and helpful staff.

Noisy neighbours in the adjoining flat and uncomfortable mattress.
