Hamen was an excellent host , attentive and helpful , accommodated breakfast to my partner being vegetarian and went above and beyond to be helpful , offered cheap taxi rides and lots of local knowledge made our stay extra enjoyable.

Hamen is a lovely person raising his son in Nadi. He is very welcoming, kind, accommodating and a fastidious host. It was a pleasure to contribute to a local person's livelihood, rather than a wealthy resort. If you book with Hamen, please be kind and outline what you expect before you arrive. We stayed at Home Away from Home, located in a quiet village outside Nadi. The apartment is simple but clean and comfortable. It was perfect for us as we were looking for a short stay before heading to the smaller islands. The owner, is very kind and accommodating. He picked us up from the airport upon request and even provided us with simple but nice breakfast. He also helped with transfers to the city for dinner and dropped us off at Port Denarau. He took very good care of us! We especially appreciated the reasonable price, proximity to the airport, and Hamen's hospitality. Would definitely recommend for those seeking a budget-friendly, local experience near Nadi.

Though the house doesn't have hot water, it wasn't a problem for us, and for village standards, the accommodation is good.

Outside table dusty. No hot water kettle. No chair in the room. No cups, only provided at breakfast. No coffee only tea bags provided. Breakfast table dusty. Staff very arrogant. Owner sharing his marital status with wanting to know.

The small apartment is very clean and convenient. The breakfast is simple and good. Hamen is a wonderful host. He is nice, polite, discret and always there if you need anything. We felt safe at his place and definitely will come back again. Thanks again Hamen!
