Nel cuore di Genova

Excellent location close to the centre. The property is on a street with loads of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars but is never noisy at night. The old stone construction keeps in warm and cozy and it's relatively soundproof too. Franco met us on arrival and was excellent. He sent us some great food and bar recommendations in the area, for local neighbourhood spots rather than the typical tourist places which was very appreciated. We are a couple of food & drink tourists at heart, so we always seek out the local, authentic joints. Great new mattresses on the beds, all the amenities you could want for a short stay.

Nothing, it was the perfect place for a few nights in Genova

Right in the middle of old town ...bright and secure alley...quiet during the night... Everything is there even little TV and broadband... Just no dishwasher... Tonnes of restaurants around ... Small supermarket down the street... And I appreciate the real plants on the windowsills and the little balcony (guess a real plus in summertime)

We loved the apartment. It is much better than the pictures show, because the pictures don't capture the beautiful feeling the apartment gives. A mix of history with modern features. It is in a very central location in a Palazzo with a grand entrance. Easy access to everything. Franko and Alessandra were really helpful with easy communication. I would definitely return. We were sad to say goodbye to our Genovese home. Thanks for everything.

The apartment was fantastic, it was beautifully renovated with a lovely mixture of new modern appliances (bathroom, shower, kitchen etc) combined with typical antique decorations. The location was perfect in the historical centre of the city, and close to sites, amenities and everything one needs. It was very nice to stay in a typical historic Genovan building, surrounded by locals - we got to see how local live it the city! The price was also excellent value and apartment was large, comfortable and quiet/ relaxing despite being in city centre, also new brilliant air conditioning system. Franco was the perfect host, he met us upon arrival and shared lots of local knowledge on touristic sites, best places to eat and drink. He was also very kind, responsive and helpful to anything we needed during our stay. If I could rate it higher than 10 I would....

The apartment has no parking included (this is to be expected in the pedestrian zone though so not a problem), but Franco directed us to a very close secure parking area

Starting from the lovely entrance to the building, strolling up the staircase, the house provides an incredible journey. It's exceptionally tidy and offers an abundance of fresh air. The rooms are spacious and equipped with fantastic new air conditioning units. Nonetheless, the rooms themselves remain unchanged, resembling a passage back in time. Their efforts to conserve the history have been commendable. Furthermore, the host imparted a fascinating lesson about the city's history, offering valuable suggestions for notable destinations to visit, including recommendations for dining and swimming locations. The encounter exceeded all expectations. The environment is peaceful, ensuring restful sleep. We certainly plan to return! Above all, I want to express gratitude to our host, Mr. Franco, for making our stay delightful and thank you for the delicious coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and you played a significant role in enhancing it. Thank you!
