Cooked breakfast available to have downstairs at good price.

Outdoor metal stairs to access entrance. Tiny en-suite. Extremely limited meal options in locality, one Chinese takeaway or fish and chips.

"Good value for short stay, everything you need but be aware of possibilty of noise from below"

Clean and as advertised. Good facilities for eating our chippy tea.

Not a fan of exterior metal staircase and noise from bar below due to watching sport I think

Exceptional facilities friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money breakfast.

The young men in the room next to us were extremely noisy and left the kitchen area in a dirty condition leaving dirty cutlery and the remains of their evening meal scattered about. I should stress that this is no fault of the hotel staff.

"Disappointing. Pilsley is described as a ‘traditional village’ but ‘ run down’ would be more apt."

5.0

The towels were soft and fluffy.

The shower room was very small and there was no hot water when we arrived so I had a cold shower! The shared kitchen area was untidy with plates in the sink, a full dishwasher and dirty laundry left next to the washing machine. The view from the bedroom window was unpleasant.

Just what I needed for a quick break away to go to a friend's party. Friendly bar staff in the pub. Chip shop and store next door were handy. No breakfast served on Sundays.
