- The Beach Villa is amazing, with a huge open bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. - The beach itself on the western side of the island (side with the Beach Villas without Pool) is heavenly. No sand bags in sight (the other side has a lot more due to beach erosion). - Very good diving experience (we were 2 AOW divers). The boat crew was incredibly helpful and nice. Our guide, TC, was professional and fun, as well as incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife. - Great service, lovely people all over the resort. Special thanks to Sujana at Taste of India/Fluid Bar! The service feels very personalized. - There are quite a few restaurant options, for lunch as well as for dinner (see below about package options). - From your arrival, you get a dedicated butler who you can just text to if you need anything for the room or if you have any issues during your stay. Thahseen was very kind and efficient. - Barely any waiting time between our international flight's arrival and the seaplane transfer.

- Food prices are on the high side; expect to pay around 50-70$ per person per meal for food only. Despite this, it is definitely not worth taking any kind of package beyond the Bed and Breakfast (we could've eaten twice as much for dinner and just barely reached the price difference for the Half Board). - Food portions are very difficult to anticipate, not really related to price. Sometimes ridiculous and sometimes very big. - If you're looking for a quiet island where you can stargaze with nothing but the sound of the waves in the evening, this is not it. Expect noisy live concerts (which leave a bitter taste of "quantity over quality") and activities in the evening at the Water's Edge bar. Those can be heard quite far away. - Compared to the other island where we stayed a few times, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes. Here they try to manage them using chemical fogging so expect to smell and see fuel smoke (it is the carrier for the insecticide) every afternoon. Hopefully they will soon update their methods to the more biodiversity- and climate-friendly method of mosquito-specific traps.
