Plymouth City Apartment

I loved the interior decorations - lamps, mirrors and paintings. Our hostess couldn't have been more accommodating. I would definitely stay here again

Elderly relatives were kept awake by nearby Trainline but I never heard it.

Bathroom was clean. Milk in the fridge

Were told we could get in earlier for graduation, when we arrived this changed & we had to get ready in the car. The keys weren’t secure. Only one set which caused issues between 5 of us. The entrance was accessed by an alley way which did not feel safe at night. The television did not work. There were decorating items in full view & exposed wiring.

Very clean

2nd bed room too small for double bed. No side access so had to crawl in from bottom of bed. Cups where not clean/stained Tv would not work as no aerial or satalite connection. Also internal stair way exposed and used as storage should be covered. N Parking is not good Need better lighting at rear garden steps

Second bedroom was little compact but ok

The second bedroom is a cupboard, no window and would be better with a single bed, very stuffy. You have to go around the back of the houses to get to accommodation, would never find it if host didn’t meet us, steep walk down a lane which wasn’t great for mother in law. No lighting into the garden, was very dark when coming home in the evening, had to use phones to see where we were going. Food left in cupboards and fridge from previous people

Not too much, it had nice decor but other than that not a lot

It was difficult to even find and we had to go down a run down back ally to get to it which made me feel very uneasy, there was rubbish and loads of over growth in the garden area we had to walk through to get to the property. Once we got in there was random stuff, half eaten food etc in the cupboards and a staircase full of building supplies. One of the double rooms was hardly a room and more like a cupboard with a bed in, there was no room to get changed you had to go to the bathroom to do that. The owner messaged me asking me to do her washing and bring it in from the line and put it into the machine! I was paying this woman to stay she wasn’t paying me to work! I was disappointed as I’ve previously always had really good experiences with booking.com and they are my go to travel provider! I won’t be staying in this accommodation again that is for sure

The owner did not know we were arriving so had not cleaned the apartment. They were also using the apartment that night so we had to share the apartment with the owner which was very awkward. The owner was friendly and pleasant.
