Errachidia Airport Apartment AC 15 Min Walk to Airport Gateway to Merzouga

Staying at Med’s place has been the most precious and unforgettable memory of our honeymoon. This review may be a bit long, simply because Med has brought us endless pleasant surprises. 1. Location As stated in the listing title and most guest reviews, it only takes around 15 minutes to walk to the airport. Most importantly, the entire route has wide, smooth sidewalks and bright streetlights all the way. 2. Neighborhood & Surroundings Med’s house is right on the main road, so it’s extremely easy to locate. The surrounding streets made us eager to explore the town. We couldn’t travel to Laayoune to follow San Mao’s footsteps on our honeymoon, but we found that same peaceful and tranquil vibe right here in this small town. We saw local boys playing football and young girls sitting and chatting together in the park. 3. House Facilities The entire accommodation is brand new, spotlessly clean and well-maintained. There is one double bed and two single beds. The kitchen is fully functional, complete with all necessary pots, pans and tableware. 4. Our wonderful experience with Med Med is an incredibly warm, kind and thoughtful host. He messaged us two days in advance to confirm our arrival time. He kindly agreed to our request to store our luggage one day before check-in. After learning about our return schedule from Merzouga, he generously offered us a ride with him. On the way back, he stopped at scenic viewpoints for us to take photos. He even made two special stops just for us — first at a traditional local market, then at the modern Merjane supermarket, so we could do some shopping. When he noticed our luggage was extremely heavy, he kindly drove us to the airport at 5:30 the next morning. We feel so lucky to have met such a wonderful host. We highly recommend all travelers planning to visit the Merzouga desert to fly in and out of Errachidia Airport. If you stay in Errachidia, Med is absolutely a surprise that far exceeds all your expectations.

Safe, clean quiet and very close to the airport. This is a perfect place to stay. The host is kind and very accommodating. There is a full kitchen and two bedrooms with 2 large living areas. Definitely recommend to solo or group travelers.

L’emplacement est idéal, à 15 min à pied de l’aéroport sur une route bien éclairée. L’hôte est souriant et se rend disponible pour accueillir tardivement.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à quelques jours d’intervalle. La première nuit était correcte. Salle de bain et tapis assez sales. La seconde nuit, quelques jours après, était médiocre. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, les draps étaient clairement sales (pas vétustes ou usés, sales, non-changés). Nous avons contacté l’hôte et son ami est venu amener un drap et des couvertures. Nous avons dû nous débrouiller pour refaire le lit.

Easy to reach from the airport, it’s very close. It is quite big. The owner was kind.

I’m sorry but the house was deeply dirty. Probably nobody cleaned it before we arrived; there was hair in the bed, sheets were stained and the carpet very dirty. Even the towels seemed dirty.
