The Bay Horse Hotel

Exellant hotel clean friendly staff perfect place for haydock horse racing or even chester horse racing as we found out with haydock being abandoned drink and food well priced and served all our needs no matter what you want

Room was very clean and tidy, bed was comfortable. had everything I needed. Iron, hairdryer. tea & coffee. And security to accommodation area was good.

I was up early and full english breakfast was a little undercooked for me, they could have done better. Coffee was better than in the rooms and a reasonable selection of pastries, cereal, juices etc.

If races were on it would be perfect location Evening meal was brilliant Room was spacious and clean Staff were really good and friendly

Breakfast was really poor some of fry up was inedible in my opinion Our room was next to the main security door to all ground floor rooms and every 5 minutes all night long the door was getting banged shut I didn’t realise how loud Scottish Oaps can be (party animals and having massive conversations at 5am out side our room)

Convenient location for our needs. Close to town but not noisy. Plenty of parking. Ate evening meal there too and food was lovely.

Only one shower towel for 2 people but hey ho we could have asked for another but managed.

Proper decent local pub great food very friendly staff and well priced
