Good location with a great view from the property. Hosts greet in person and were friendly. Generator to keep you going during load shedding was great.

No knowledge on the booking explaining that 2 bedrooms are outside the main house and the cottage is an outdoor walk up stairs, as it is very different from a four bedroom house and could be a problem for older members of a group or children, even just sharing items. Geyser for the cottage only allowed for 2 hot showers and then ran out. Toilet in main house tap running constantly and needs maintenance. Double doors opening up to deck and pool need maintenance as not able to open up on the sliding door system. Bearings not tight. BBQ was available but most bolts were loose making it quite unsafe. Cottage doors were a struggle to open and close, cottages were not serviced on the first day because the housekeeper could not open the doors, which we were struggling to open ourselves. No carpets on the tiled floor in the cottages, terrible on cold nights and mornings. No bathroom mats in the cottage bathrooms when tiles are wet and slippery. House manual is needed so that information can be made available easily not via memory, ie: remote buttons and security system, which armed itself after each load shedding period ( without warning). Only 6 of us stayed there and we ran out of toilet paper in all bathrooms on the last day, only to be told that it was self catering and did not include any, quite unreasonable considering the price for the stay, lacked value for money.
