Excellent stay and the hospitality was great. Rooms were very clean, the location is perfect and they served us a great breakfast

Junaid played a perfect host. The most humble and down to earth family. It felt like I was at home. Bhabhijaan prepared dinner always was there for a quick chat. The location is at dal gate. Ghat no.1 is quite nearby. I would definately stay with them on my next visit

The best part of all was the location, just a few steps from shikara launches and houseboats. Our room had a view overlooking a serene, leafy arm of Dal Lake, but it was in walking distance to transportation hubs, hotels, and a range of restaurants. Second, the room and terrace were spotless. Third, the staff were eager to meet our needs. Hot water was available when we wanted, and the breakfast was the way we like it.

The one drawback may have been outside the management's control, but it was quite inconvenient for us. For two days of our stay, the electricity was down to what little the generator could put out. Our room was limited to one light, and as a consequence the Wi-Fi was down and we couldn't charge our devices at night. The entire neighborhood was dark. Of course, we don't know what measures management could have taken to prepare for what seemed to be a freak outage. (It was said that a kid's fishing line tangled in power lines, visible from our window, caused the short-circuit.)
