Apartment Juvara in the hearth of Como

Every thing was perfect..

Location is in the heart of Como. So close to the waterfront with ferries to other villages, and to supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Easy to wander around Como and get a feel of the lovely town and all it has to offer. There was a lovely market just outside on a Sunday (not sure how often this happens) but had local handmade goods and I purchased some lovely gifts. The Alessandro Volta Museum (investor of the electrical battery) is less than 10 minutes walk away and worth a visit - you can sit outside afterwards and enjoy the gorgeous waterfront. The whole apartment is spacious and the the bed so comfortable. I didn't cook but could have as everything is provided. Nice to make up an antipasto platter and eat at home (it feels like home) after a big day exploring the area. And there is always good gelato nearby. I must mention Barbara because she was an amazing host - very good at communicating and so accommodating.

Just a reminder you have to go up two flights of stairs to get there. Another little trick is that the light switches need to be turned on at the bottom of the stairs before you start going up. I don't live in an apartment so wasn't used to this but you learn very fast!

The location is perfect and walkable to the lakefront and lots of restaurants and shops. The apartment is comfortable, quiet and beautiful. We LOVED the large bathroom with double sinks and a big shower.

The steps to the apartment are quite steep and there isn’t a lift, so not suitable for people with mobility issues. We had trouble knowing which apartment was the Airbnb, but I’ve shared this with the host and I’m sure it will be easier for future guests.

Comfortable and surprisingly quiet apartment in the center of Como. Air Conditioning is highly appreciate during warm and humid evenings. All amenities, train station and multiple bars, sights and restaurants in 10 min walking distance

Very charming appartment in the center of Como next to the lake with many restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment is furnished with very much taste well equipped for visitors.
