The Farm at Avebury

The location is lovely, right opposite Silbury Hill and a very quick and pretty walk into Avebury. The host was really friendly and helpful. There are ponies and piglets on the farm which was an absolute delight. It was very quiet and had everything that we needed for the stay. We stayed in Longstones Stable which is perfect for a couple looking to relax and enjoy the area. Marlborough and Devizes are just up the road. We had Sunday lunch at the Red Lion which was really nice, big portions and very friendly staff. Due to personal circumstances we had to arrive a day later than expected but the host was exceedingly kind and said we could stay an extra night. There is a walking guide in the apartment and everything was easy to work. It was very clean and the bed was perfect, we slept really well.

Steep steps will be a challenge for older visitors

Lovely cosy accomodation. Welcome pack was very nice. Bed was very comfortable and the steep steps up to the bedroom made it more fun. We enjoyed seeing the farm and feeding our scraps to the pigs.

This is such an amazing find, the conversion on the property is stunning. The facilities are amazing and the hospitality is second to none (the local produce was such a nice touch). I will definitely be coming back 🫶

Beautiful accommodation and so many lovely activities for children ( play barn, orchard climbing equipment qnd lots of friendly animals)
