The host was very nice and super helpful. The room is beautifully decorated, newly renovated. Good location next to old town, but not in old town. Easy to find and we found public parking which was much cheaper than going into a car park.

Lovely room with plenty of space. Do not be put off by the location as it is only 10 minutes to walk to the Old city of Bari. This place gives far more space and value than staying in the Old Town area- we tried both locations and should have stayed in this one for the whole 4 days. The room was spacious, clean, interesting art and books with information about Puglia. Breakfast - the usual coffee and cornetto voucher for a cafe but supplemented here by items in the fridge and room eg yoghurts, sweet cakes, milk and drinks. Very thoughtful and more than we got in our Old town room. There is an elevator to the room and electric blinds to block street light. Host/owner Valeria was amazing, a super host and talented artist !

You can be put off by the location at first, in an office building in a working part of the city. But inside it is charming and the location is not bad, in fact the local cafes etc probably better than Old town.

We stayed in Bari at the La Dimora dell'Arte for 3 nights. It was wonderful. The second snug room was a great place to hang out. This reminds me that the internet was extremely fast but not in that room. Still, it was usable in this room. Valeria was very kind and welcoming. She was at our disposal for any questions that we might have. The location couldn’t really have been better. It was an easy walked to the old town. As well the area around had plenty of grocery stores, bars and restaurants. The fridge was well stocked with snacks as was the living room. For breakfast, we had a voucher for food and drink at a caffe across the street. This worked very well. There was a great shower. The a/c worked really well. We cannot think of any better place to stay in Bari. La Dimora dell'Arte gets the Radtel seal of approval.

If you’re looking for a clean, cozy place with authentic hospitality and amazing food, this is the perfect choice. I would return in a heartbeat!

Lovely room and bathroom. Very clean and lovely touches. Great host who was very attentive. Breakfast was tasty and homemade.

The location was not picturesque but close to everything and short walk to the old town.
