Garden level - no outside views
USIdeal location. Comfortable walk (1 mile) to the White House. Plenty of options for brunch, coffee, dessert within walking distance. We found parking out in front and walked downtown each day. Lovely quiet neighborhood, safe and very easy to negotiate (especially with some help from google maps).
My wife and I are over 70 years of age, neither of us have ever been to DC, had no idea what to expect. My reason for visiting was to honor and remember 3 shipmates whose names are on the Wall of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, I accomplished this "bucket list" wish. We spent 6 nights at Heart of Dupont Walk to Georgetown and WALK we did, averaging 9 miles every day visiting the Smithsonian multiple days, Arlington National Cemetary, (the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers is a Must see). At the end of each day, we found an easily accessible Metro station and rode back "home" via the Dupont Circle Metro Station. From the station there were many dinner options to choose from and we never had a negative experience. If we ever come back to DC, this is where we will stay. Thank you, Heart of Dupont Georgetown.
USThe location could not be better for the Dupont Circle area! Very clean townhouse basement apartment with a comfy bed.
The description of how you open and close the lock could have been better. However, they were very responsive by text and phone.
