The owner turned off his phone even though it was just three minutes after check in time was closed. I booked this room for two friends of mine. They had to come back to mine and sleep on the floor. We are certain the owner/receptionist phone was ringing and even though it was just few minutes past midnight he cruelly turned it off and left them outside. We never heard from him even after numerous calls and complains. Hotellerie it is all about taking good care of people and provide them of temporary housing. He mercilessly left them outside, obviously doesn’t understand how important it is his job. Surely they were slightly late but then he should just change the check in limit to 11 or 10. Little delays really do happens sometimes completely independently from the behavior of the guests. It is just nice to help. If his phone would have been off I would have understood. By he just turned it off afterwards when he saw the call. It doesn’t sound like great hospitality to me.
