Better Wi-fi connection, the staff was hospitable and friendly, good and quiet environment, clean.

No warm/hot water from the showers, and general refreshing of the room for someone staying more than a day

"We had a great time, and the host was excellent."

The host was very responsive and helpful with my requests (for example, providing me with a mosquito net and helping to book the airport taxi). The location is in a nice neighborhood with a few good restaurants nearby.

There was no air conditioning or a fan in the room. Surroundings (from nearby club and other neighbors) could be a bit loud in the early morning/midnight.
