the place is in middle of a small quiz town with a lot of charm. the hotel itself feels very new we like the air flow in our room (rooms don't have ac but actually you don't need it because of the stones covering the room and the building) the room is very very clean and the owner is responsive

lack of place to put our things to cold (no common refregireator) also as mentioned in other reviews, the green emergency light at night is very bright and no option to turn it off

Very clean and modern

There was no one on reception when we arrived. We had to make 3 phone calls for someone to turn up and check us in. The lady was efficient but not welcoming and unfriendly. She asked us to pay for the room up front when we checked in. We didn’t see anyone again. The room did not have a chair or desk. There was no where to sit. In the morning there was no breakfast provided. We left without seeing anyone. So very disappointing and not worthy of the high praise provided by other guests.

Honestly cannot fault this hotel at all! I believe it was brand new last July (2023) its design and furnishing is stunning, perfect and very comfortable. Everything was so lovely and clean and modern and very well taken care of, even the landscaping. The owners were doing some gardening whilst we were there and it was lovely chatting to them. They should be so proud of this place! Check in was easy and we were able to park both of our large adventure motorbikes in their garage which was perfect. As we came in off season there actually wasn’t anyone else there during the evening so we were able to sit outside in the sun and cook our dinner on our camping stove which was ideal! Although we were only staying one night I honestly loved our stay here. I would say that if you like sleeping in the pitch black though do bring a sleep mask, there is a green emergency exit light inside the room door which stays on all night as well as another tiny flashing green one above the bed which must be a smoke alarm or something which can get annoying in the dark.

Common area too basic for guests who arrive late - no infrastructure (bars, restaurants, supermarkets) close to the property. Restaurants were recommended but no support for actually booking a table. Breakfast (especially the coffee) was not really enjoyable - noisy vending machine within the breakfast area did not help.
