Friendly attentive staff .. amazing fresh wood fired pizzas.. spotless room

Food was great - good quality breakfast, with good bread for the toast.

Our room had an enormous bathroom, with a lovely tile floor. Strangely it has a very small wash hand basin - the sort that's used when there is limited space.

Location in a beautiful village, large comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. The cold buffet breakfast and coffee were excellent

Cooked breakfast was mediocre: dry scrambled eggs and hard overcooked bacon..The sausage was nice.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly Louise. The village of Askham is lovely and the pub is just like an English pub should be. Cosy welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

As with the majority of hotel rooms, not enough space to hang towels.

Very friendly staff, beautiful location, lovely bedroom. The pizza in the evening was tasty and breakfast was very good. My dog was also made to feel very welcome.

Lovely comfortable bedroom. Very quaint pub in a beautiful village. Scenic walks from the doorstep. Food was delicious, particularly enjoyed breakfast.
