Good Morning Hoi An Homestay and Hostel

The host at Good Morning was the loveliest woman - she recommended us tailors for both leather and clothes (which were both amazing), when we wanted to post our things back she got someone to come to the hotel and when that was too expensive she drove us to the nearby post office. The most helpful, attentive person ever. Thank you! Location was also amazing, right in the heart of old town and walkable to most places. Clean and comfortable.

I spent 4 nights in this Homestay. The Homestay is very well located in a quiet lane within easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants including McDonald’s and KFC. The room was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, lovely soft new towels, excellent lighting, a room fan as well as an air conditioner, bottled water provided on the first night and the 2 owners were very friendly and very helpful people.

The room however is best described as “minimal” in so far as it lacked a refrigerator and television as well as a kettle for boiling water. Clothes storage consisted of open hangers (see photo) instead of a wardrobe. The bathroom was very small (see photo) and the shower lacked a curtain. I spent 4 nights in the Homestay and it was serviced after the second night. Servicing involved replacing the towel and removing the rubbish. Sachets of shampoo and body wash were provided as well as a small bar of soap. I would recommend to bring your own shampoo if you have long hair. The comfort on the first night of my stay was less than satisfactory. On arrival the room was exceedingly hot due to the window being open and allowing a strong hot breeze to enter the room. It took a very long time to cool the room to a comfortable level and I found it difficult to sleep. The subsequent nights were better. The price of the room was very reasonable so one cannot expect too much.

The hosts were just beautiful with a lot of great advice. The location was excellent, close enough to everything but nice and quiet.

The staff were very nice and kind. They allowed us to check in early and let us leave our things there for a few hours after check-out. The place is clean and centrally located.

-Near to Hoi An Lantern, around 6 minutes walk -Staff are hospitable -40 Minutes from airport, which can be booked by taxi or Grab -2-minute walk to McDonalds and KFC -Toiletries well-provided, including comb, toothbrush, shampoo and conditioner
