Mexican feel to the design. Quiet.

This hotel has so much potential but no. The location is terrible; far from the Beach (which is where you will be). Room is big with a kitchenette but no table or couch to sit at/on, there is nothing to put your things on so things must sit on the floor, no service for my five night stay, windows face the hallway so no natural light (it’s like a bunker). If all you are looking for is a place to drop your head at night this is your place otherwise no.

Le fait que le premier jour on m'est attribué une chambre non équipée qui ne correspondait pas à ma réservation. Heureusement le lendemain la situation a été rétablie.

Overall, this is a decent option to stay in Holbox. The bed, air conditioning, and shower were all very capable and comfortable, which made it easy to rest after long days at the beach. However, there were several inconveniences. I arranged my arrival time in advance and arrived within that window, but the host was not there. He did send a message beforehand, but it still required coordinating another day to complete payment.

I chose this apartment because the listing mentioned a TV so I could watch Netflix in the evenings. Upon arrival, the host explained that the TVs have never had service and the owner chooses not to update them, so in practice there was no usable TV. There were also some maintenance and setup issues. There was a water leak in the kitchen that left part of the floor wet, and the refrigerator was not plugged in when I arrived. The pool itself is fine, but the pool area contains old broken machines and some garbage, which detracts from the atmosphere.
