The host is extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. 1 day before the stay the host asked me how I wanted to pay for the stay, apparently she does not allow booking.com to accept payments. Fine. I told her as an international traveler I can only do PayPal or via the Booking App. She told me Paypal has too much fees and she only accepts cashapp or zelle. FIY zelle and cashapp is not available in Europe. After a few back and forth she then told me she will accept PayPal. She send me a PayPal address which I transferred the money to, next day she told me that wasn’t the correct address she had a typo in the messages…so I had to waste my time on my vacation to contact PayPal to get this right. The host did not once show empathy or was apologetic for all the inconvenience she caused. The wash machine does NOT work there, and when asked she could not give an reasonable explanation. There was a closet with personal items there as if someone was living there.. it was very unprofessional and a horrible experience. This host needs to work on her customer service. Even the cleaning lady told us that the business is not doing well (MAKES ABSOLUTELY SENSE). If it wasn’t for her terrible customer service I wouldn’t have wrote this review.

The apartment is huge and has all the amenities. We were able to cook and it was genuinely comfortable, clean and welcoming. In terms of conditions it was the most complete place we stayed in Jamaica. Hot shower, good WiFi, even Netflix, balcony, pool access, security and parking. Very safe, ideal for a family or group of friends.

The check in process was quite difficult. We were only informed we had to pay in cash when we got there even though it said we would be charged on card everywhere in our booking confirmation. We had to then withdraw money so took the housekeeper with us to give her the cash, our European cards weren't working anywhere so it took a while to get it sorted, quite stressful. We weren't given the option to pay at the end or even the next day so had to chase ATM after ATM until it worked. Spent extra ££ withdrawing and using mobile data to get all of this sorted. The owner was very kind over messages and said they would rectify the payment options on booking so this doesn't happen again. Also took a while to find the apartment because the condo is split in phases/blocks and the address doesn't mention that.
