Retreat on the Lake

Nothing.

The electronic lock on my room would not open the door. There is Noone on premises to help. I texted and got no answer. I texted again and asked if staying in my car would be alright. No answer. I had to pay to stay somewhere else. I want a complete refund.

I have requested a refund for this place I never got to stay at and still haven’t received it. There was not a soul there when we got there. There was a ring camera that said virtual check in. We rang it nonstop for 20 minutes with no response. We called the phone number on the sign multiple times and left voice mails and no response. We had to drive to another town to find a place to stay last minute. Technically I feel they owe me gas money too.

This is our second time staying here, we enjoy coming here to get away from the city.

The bathroom was very dirty, I always travel with cleaning products so I was able to clean the bathrooms.The shower curtain was very dirty too.

Way too small for the amount they charged.My shower in my travel trailer is bigger than the one in the room

I like the room decor

Had issues with the tv/ internet Had spiders(2) and three bugs in my room

The room was ok.

We were travellinng from the UK. When we arrived thete was no reception and nowhere to check in. We had to knock on ropm doors to find someone to help.Apparently we should have received a text with details. Eventually we contacted a phone number where a lady said she couldn't text us. She gave us a room number and door code but once inside there was no info and we needed a wifi password to use the internet and the tv which she hadn't given us. We had messaged Booking.com and the property but no response. Eventually the lady sent the password to us via Booking.com but by then we had given in and gone to sleep early.
