Nang Taro Home Stay

Simple homestay with awesome view in the morning where we can see 5 mountains and access to the waterfall.

Need to improve a lil bit, please put the dufet cover to make the guest more comfy and look hygienic.

Two things. 1. There was a slug in my room and it stayed in the bathroom from day one until the last day of my stay. I suppose it came from the garden in front of the very room. 2. My first day there happened to be a termite season. Normally, it would be fine if the termites didn't enter the room. But due to a small gap between the room's entrance sliding door, their invasion into my room was inevitable.

Nice village, cute room with a comfy bed. Super friendly family and nice views from the terrace.

Beautiful friendly and welcoming family, food was great, my room was great with wonderful gardens. Close to activities with Waterfall walk begining right from the back yard, village lovely to walk around, the elephant park and firefly garden not to far. Highly recommended Nang Taro Home Stay, I loved it and would return.

The view seemed nice

Difficult to communicate with the host - very poor English. The room we were given was in a very bad shape.. not at all like the rooms shown on the pictures. We left after seeing the room and did not sleep there. There was mold and poor lighting. We could not even get a refund.

I made a spontaneous trip to Taro to see the fireflies at Bring Back the Light (Google the firefly experience via Seek Sophie - highly recommend). I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the homestay was the start of a short trek to some caves and a hidden waterfall. It was a fantastic jungle adventure. I was made to feel very welcome by the family. There is a traditional Balinese kitchen opposite the room and the family were cooking on a wood fire when I arrived. It was a great experience. The room was very clean and comfortable and the gardens were immaculate. The owner was super helpful and offered to take me to the firefly experience, then picked me up later. The villagers were also very friendly. This was my absolute favourite accommodation and experience in Bali.

Lovely homestay with friendly and helpful family owners. Fresh well appointed rooms overlooking pleasant tree covered valley.

Extremely nice staff. Situated in in the middle of the jungle with a breathtaking view. Private access to an amazing waterfall!! Must visit.
