It was great to have more space than a usual motel/hotel and more privacy, also we were able to do some washing which was nice. Location was handy to napier city for guyfawkes.

It was a quite warm and stuffy upon entering but we were grateful for the ac and fans in the rooms. The first bedroom bed was very hard. And the shower doors were coming off the hinges.

very close to Kennedy Rd and Expressway makes getting to Napier amd Hastings easy, close to Greenmeadows/Taradale. big enough for 7 people, 2 large beds in separate rooms and single over double bunk in another, and roomy couch and seating for 6 at dinner table. covered outdoor table area. well priced compared to similar alternatives.

there was a big of noise from expressway which isn't an issue except for one night where they were doing repairs. we did have a visit from local ants to our grapes but that's normal for summer in hawkes bay and we're wiped out with a quick spray n wipe. would be difficult to cook for a house full but plenty there for breakfasts and lunches. some more towels (hand towels and a couple more for showers if staying multiple nights. could not locate a recycling bin and some larger cups would not hurt, garage is nor available to guests. But nothing that would stop us staying again.

The stay was awesome for my whanau and I for a last-minute booking. Good communication with the owners.

It served exactly the purpose we intended. Meeting Family for our grandson’s birthday. It was clean, quite nice, warm once the heater got going. No real complaints.

There didn’t seem to be sufficient cutlery, pots pans etc for the 6 of us. No cleaning equipment apart from some washing up liquid, that was probably why the frying pan was dirty. We cleaned it by cooking with it. We had no option. Only one cooking pot so nigh on impossible to prepare a meal for 6. Couldn’t really use the oven as there were no trays to cook something in. The notes said toiletries supplied but there was one shampoo between 6.
