Lakes and Eden Valley. Thornhill Cabin

Clean, the heating and lights were on prior to our arrival which was about 10pm so we was warmly welcomed as it was quite chilly for June! Debbie even came out despite the time as we was a little confused which one we were in and showed us where the cabin was and how to use the hot tub and heating. We was even surprised with some prosecco and Malteasers in the fridge which was a lovely surprise! We was staying for a family wedding and also to celebrate our 4 year anniversary we had struggled to secure a taxi to get to the wedding so had decided to not drink and drive ourselves but Debbie stepped in and offered to drop us off and pick us up if needed so as parents we appreciated being able to properly let our hair down! I then mistakenly left my iPad and Debbie quickly alerted me so I could collect it! Debbie was just nothing short of phenomenal! Can assure we will stay again and can’t wait to be back!

The cabin was so cute and had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing. Relaxing in the evening amongst the bird song. Just magical. Owners very welcoming and friendly

There wasn’t any thing we didn’t like

Everything was just amazing.

The only thing we thought would be really good would be a little heater for when sun goes down and not in the hot tub.

The lodge was very clean and everything you would need was provided including a bottle of prosecco and some chocolates. Debbie showed us everything we needed to know. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed watching the sun set whilst we lay in the tub. We went visiting local towns Penrith and Keswick both within a short drive and had markets on too. Plenty of walks locally if you like hiking. Brilliant break and definitely recommend you go here.
