D'Pondok Sangaji Ricefield View by EPS

The bed was really comfortable. The view on the rice field and the palm tree is beautiful, and the pool is really nice. I think it is good place to stay for a couple of nights but not more. We stayed here for one month and I think it was too long.

I was so so disappointed with the owner (the husband). The wife was very nice and welcoming, but unfortunately, I felt really uncomfortable with the behavior of the husband after about 20 days into our stay. This made the last part of our stay unpleasant, and I asked him not to come to the villa or contact me anymore. It was very disappointing, as I expected a different level of professionalism. My husband and I stayed for one month for our honeymoon. We had to stay 10 more days feeling really really uncomfortable. That's really sad and it really made the end of our stay being bad!! Also, just as a note for future guests: if you are sensitive to jungle insects and the sounds of the jungle cacophony at night, this property may not be the best fit.

Nous avons été conduits à la villa par Bayu, le chauffeur de cette dernière.(Plus tard, nous passerons avec lui une très agréable journée(frais supplémentaire)comprenant 4excursions à un prix raisonnable.C'est un excellent chauffeur!)Arrivé à la villa, perdue dans la jungle, entourée de rizières, nous avons été gentillement accueilli par Tya et son amie.La villa est entourée d'un très joli jardin, avec une belle piscine privée,sdb extérieure, grand lit confortable entouré d'un moustiquaire et d'un salon.Un soir(19h), je n'étais pas très bien et je voulais de l'eau en bouteille fraîche(Même si un bidon est disponible sur place si vous le souhaitez) et des bananes...(Nous n'avions pas de scooter, il faisait nuit et rien comme magasin a proximité)J'ai donc envoyé un message à Tya qui a contacté une amie à elle, Rika, qui m'a apporté en scooter, rapidement,des bouteilles d'eau et des bananes de son jardin...MERCI à elles deux pour leurs précieux appuis /soutiens qui contribua beaucoup à ma guérison rapide:-)Elisabeth et Xavier

Vous êtes dans la jungle, donc si vous êtes un peu regardant au niveau de la faune locale, réfléchissez y bien(Même si il n'y a aucun animal dangereux ici)

Everything about the place was really nice,if you like being out of town away from chaos,this is one the best villas to stay in. What made it amazing was the manager there Tya, she was so unbelievably nice an helpful, her english is very good so communication wasn't an issue, anything I needed she was able to help with or point me in the right direction. Next time I come back to bali I will be staying there again and for a longer period.

Having to leave

Very quiet and private area, you have the whole villa and the surrounding ricefields to yourself, no neighboors! Occasionally theres a farmer crossing the ricefield but thats managable. Comfy bed and great facilities, great service provided just one whatsapp message away.

The bathtub would have been great to use, however, theres only a 15L waterheater installed and the bathtub has easily a capacity of 200L, so there was no way to fill it up with warm, yet alone hot water. I hope this will be fixed in the future and then all will be truly perfect :)

Absolutely Amazing Private Pool Villas! From the beginning we stepped through the door, we were blown away by the nice view with comfortable amenities and facilities with green garden and private swimming pool. The attention to detail in the design and decor truly made our stay unforgettable moment during stayed. The spacious bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor area with the pool was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. The location was ideal and the staff was charmimg, attentive and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We can't wait to return to this slice of paradise ^_^

All Perfect Already

We loved that we were staying by ourselves without be surrounded by other tourist. Breakfast was delicious with a choice of 4 options each morning, juice and fruit.The plunge pool located in the front of the villa was clean and as the temps are a little cooler in north Ubud we actually didn't swim every day but it was lovely to have it there after a walk. We loved that there were lots of seating options from couches, to chairs, to loungers. We were there really to relax and read our books so it was nice to have a variety of options. We didn't turn the air con on, but it was there, we also didn't use the TV but there are plenty of options of things to watch. The owners are lovely and we knew if there was an issue they were only a text away. Please note, if you don't like frogs or huntsman type spiders, or geckos running round on the ceiling overnight this probably isn't the place for you. Nature is noisy at night but the cacophony was wonderful. We stayed for 7 days, which in hindsight was about 2-3 longer than I would do again, only because we didn't have transport and had to order food from Ubek and grab - we thought we could have dinner cooked and pay extra but found out shortly before our holiday we couldn't. There is limited eating places in walking distance so be prepared to order or grab/ubek. There are a couple of restaurants down past the Elephant 'sanctuary' and we thoroughly recommend Samara Ratih. A small improvement I would suggest would be to have an outside drying rack for 'beach' towels, swim suits etc we just used the inside rack. All in all a lovely stay.

This isn't a negative about the villa but after keeping all my plastic bottles and cans separately for recycling and explaining they were for recycling I saw they were put in bags and thrown onto a pit like rubbish pile next to the villa through a fence, I came across it by accident as I was trying to watch a bird. Broke my heart that the recycling was thrown away like that when there is a sign out the front that speaks of nature. That is not the way to treat our planet. There is a recycling company in ubud, Kono, I would happily of dropped off our recycling there on leaving. I know I was in Bali but I would still like to do my bit to save the planet.
