Cabana Riverside Resort - Kainchi Dham

Great location. Right on the banks of the river Koshi with amazing views

1. I stayed there in January. The temperatures drop below zero but the rooms are not insulated at all. The construction is done with wood panels. One small room heater was provided only after I asked for it calling twice. The one comforter/blanket was not warm enough to keep someone comfortably warm. Woke up really cold. 2. Restaurant was too slow. Received my food 2 hours after ordering. I would be better off getting ready, pickup the car and drive 10 minutes to reach nearest town and get some food there. 3. They kept playing loud music outdoor on the property. Despite several calls, the music was not turned off. It felt like a marriage party with DJ playing songs late into the night. If you are looking to party this might be the place for you. However, if looking to enjoy the natural beauty in peace and quiet then stay away. Not for families for this same reason. Meant for summer time, if looking to party, and can wait for the food. Otherwise just vist the spot for great views and come back.

We had a wonderful family stay at Cabana Riverside Resort. The location is peaceful, with beautiful views of the river. The rooms were clean and comfortable, perfect for families. The food was delicious, with a good variety for everyone to enjoy. The staff was very friendly, always helpful, and made us feel welcome. It's a great place to relax and spend quality time with your loved ones. Highly recommend.

The vibe of the property was good and it was close to Kainchi Dham Neem Karoli mandir (like max 10mins by car)

The amount that we paid for stay was not less than for a good 4.5 star hotel however, the ambience or interior of the room were not upto the mark, may be this can be worked upon by the owner. The rooms were big and heater provided was very small which did not make the room cosy at all at night considering cold weather. May be these basic amenities could be made better.
