Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Uns wurde alles gut erklärt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ebenfalls toll. Den Bahnhof kann man super per Fuß erreichen.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, jedoch gab es nur einen Cappuccino und ein Crossiant. Es gibt trotzdem eine ausreichende Wahl an Frühstück für das man selbst bezahlen muss.

Everything in the apartment is brand new, super clean and confortable. 2 minutes to train station. With closed windows we could hardly hear the noise of the street. Host was exceptionally welcoming.

A szállásadó nem beszél angolul, de fordítóval ezt is megoldottuk. A reggeli egy kávéból és croissantból áll a közeli étteremben, ez nem mindenkinek elégséges.

Nice short stay with these lovely people - friendly, genuine, and always available when needed. The location near Palermo Centrale was very convenient for those using trains. Our room was very clean and we especially appreciated the elevator after long days of walking the city. Breakfast vouchers were convenient and delicious.

The room was spotlessly clean, and the balcony overlooking the relatively busy street added a particularly nice touch to our stay. The location is excellent—just next to the Central Station—making it ideal for day trips by train or bus, while the historic centre of Palermo is also easily reachable on foot. One aspect we especially appreciated was the good sound insulation, as well as the fact that the rooms are located on the second floor. Palermo is generally quite noisy, so this made a real difference and allowed us to sleep comfortably.

The hosts did not speak English—or more precisely, one of them spoke a little and sent us messages in English, but in person, both at check-in and check-out, there was very limited English communication. This would not have been a major issue if the necessary instructions had been provided more clearly in written form. Regarding check-out, we specifically asked what time we could leave on the final day, as our flight was in the evening. The hosts told us we could stay until noon, but they arrived at the B&B before 10:00 a.m., and as we were heading out for breakfast, we were urged to leave as soon as possible. A follow-up message the evening before might have resolved this, but one of the hosts later apologised, so I believe they did remember that we had agreed on a noon check-out during check-in and it was not an initial misunderstanding. Also, there was no way for us to leave the luggage at the B&B but with only backpacks this was not the biggest issue for us. Additionally, the breakfast voucher provided for the second day (at a place called Anita’s Bar) was only worth €2.50, essentially covering just a cappuccino—not even enough for a croissant to accompany the coffee. This was not clearly communicated in advance. On another day, at a different bar (Gelateria Ciccio Adelfio), we were able to get both coffee and a pastry of our choice, with genuinely polite service, which made the inconsistency more noticeable.
