Pyke Cottage, Clyde

The hosts were awesome and helped us out with a lift to the start of our ride

Pyke Cottage is in a convenient location in historic Clyde, within walking distance to great places to eat (Oliver’s; Three Peaks Coffee) and the beautiful Clutha River. The host, Peter, is super friendly and welcoming and makes you feel right at home, but leaves you to your privacy. The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning was a welcome amenity on a hot Central Otago night. We had a great stay and can highly recommend the cottage for a couple or solo traveller!

Great stay at Pyke Cottage. Location a short walk to town or down to the river. Being summer it was lovely to sit out on the little patio for a drink and breakfast. Really appreciated the air conditioning and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Can also highly recommend the Post Office Cafe for dinner which is just up the road from Pyke Cottage.

We just loved our stay here and would definitely return. Peter and Glenys were just wonderful, kind, and caring hosts. Lots of attention to detail like flowers & cookies. In a great location, easy, short walk to central Clyde.

Within easy walking to restaurants and cycling agents. Bike charging in a safe location. Quiet location. Friendly hosts.

Possibly place the fridge in the lower section of the cupboard so you can use the bench space for toast etc. Not sure where to wash dishes.
