AUThe Loft is a lovely 2-bedroom apartment perfectly situated in Utrecht’s historical district. It was very clean with great heating, and well appointed with amenities to cook and wash and perfect for our family of four. The beds were particularly comfortable and the large dining table was ideal for family dinners.
Although not an issue for us, I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone who has mobility issues, or small children - there are two flights of very steep, poorly lit, open (no outer guardrails) and narrow stairs to access the 2nd bedroom and main loft living area. This also makes it challenging when traveling with heavy luggage. I would have also liked better lighting in the apartment and for the small bedroom to be heated as it was very cold in that room.

Having not received any info from Booking.com on getting access despite sending them an email & text the day before departure I had to phone Hein to get details from airport. He was brilliant and had the details in minutes! Booking.com sent info at 22.30 that evening when we we already in and again the day before departure. Both of which were useless. The property was exactly as described but was at 316 and not 318 which caused us a bit of confusion! The main living room/bedroom area was VERY large but kept surprisingly warm. It would benefit from having a radio or sound system. The small bedroom was VERY compact and would be really tight if 2 adults used it. A blind on the glass door and maybe a storage shelf could be an additional improvement.
