Mara Duma Bush Camp

Just steps from the Talek gate, look across the Mara river (hippos and crocodiles!) from your front porch and watch the sun set as elephants walk past.... a wonderful, peaceful spot. Extremely sweet staff. Good wifi, new tents. Great value.

Honestly there was very little to complain about here. Maybe the dining facilities could have been a bit more open but honestly they were fine.

Excellent and helpful staff! Great variety of food, breakfast included, rest of meals daily for $20/meal. Organised our game and transport without problems.Game drive was excellent, our guide was knowledgeable and showed us all the animals in the park. Location of the place is very convenient, next to Talek Gate.

Poor wifi connection in the rooms

The location is perfect, right next to the Talek gate. You have a view on the Masaai Mara from your tent/bungalow! We were in a tent with our family of 5, incl 3 kids. We LOVED the place. Highly recommendable. The staff is simply great, they take care of you from the start until the end. Clean, spacious and comfortable tent/bungalow. The pictures dont do justice to the place.

The owner tried to chatted me and he need me to pay 3% more than the amount specified in the BOOKING.COM. When I told him I will bring the police he was afraid. Also we agreed to have a lunch including every thing but he was trying to ask more for the soda that we had which is very bad and I myself don’t recommend it to anybody.

Close to the talek gate, peaceful place and excellent food and services. One of the best stays in Kenya

The environment and geographical location are very good. It is just opposite Masai Mara Park.

I had to stay for two nights, but on the third day, I went hunting and didn't check out, forcing me to charge 50% more of the room charge.

Extremely friendly personnel, food was simple but very good, our guide Kindi was very good and knows the Masai Mara well. Sleeping next to the river with the hippos and hyenas at night is a great experience.

The location close to the river was fine. It was clean. The woman employed worked hard to please us.

Paying $20 each for dinner was a rip-off considering what we got for less at the other places we visited and the poor quality of the food here. The tent set-up could not have taken long to build looking at the haphazard nature of the construction and complete lack of finish to the work done. At times there was no electricity, then the water failed to emerge and then there was the strange lock to the bathroom that suddenly jammed. We eventually got a key, but it was the wrong one....
