Susie's Beautiful Caravan near the sea

Well located for the facilities and beaches. The caravan was beautifully clean and comfortable. Lovely extras like WiFi and Netflix. Had a wonderful stay.

The caravan was lovely and comfortable, inside and out. The rooms were a good size with comfy beds. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed. My son says he liked everything about it!

Pretty aspects inside. Very bright and colourful. I feel like I have given Susie some bad press here and that we did not enjoy our holiday. This was not my intention, we did have a good time away apart from the weather and that is out of everyone's hands. We had some wonderful family time together and played several board and card games in the evenings and on the rainy days. Susie was very helpful and quick to respond when we had a problem and had given us some informative info. The site is very good if you have young kids and enjoy Haven holidays. We were a little too old for all this. Barmouth is a lovely drive away or do as we did and get the train. It cost us £12p/p and was and hour and twenty mins away. The train station was a 10min walk away and you do have to signal the train driver to stop. We got tickets online but you can pay on the train. Staff were very helpful. The nearby beach is shingle but if you wait for the tide to go out there are some nice sandy spots. Papa Johns pizza was nice and so was Chopsticks noodle bar. The pub restaurant on site was not good and had we spoken with our neighbours sooner we would have found that out. If ordering fish and chips from the on site chip shop please know you do not get much vinegar if any. All of the review given is just our experience at the time.

Various screw heads in floor where carpet joined lino (nap locks) were protruding, painful to various family members feet, especially with having to remove shoes. Ill fitting curtains throughout the caravan. Trip hazard and gappy. Nets in main bedroom trip hazard as too long. Made getting round the bed awkward. Not enough room for storage. Coffee table too big for surroundings and wobbly. Dressing table lamp beautiful base but way too big for room and dressing table Sofa not comfy or supportive in places. I do not remember getting any email from Haven otherwise we would have changed venue.

Clean, comfortable, well situated. All appliances that you could need. Susie was very responsive and helpful with my questions.

WiFi was poor but probably not a lot that the host can do about it.

Location is fantastic for exploring north Wales and some kids activities locally too. Almost fully equipped kitchen even with a slow cooker!

Beds were on the soft side personally. However my 6 years old loved it. No dishwasher.

Location brilliant

More space in bedroom

Felt like a home from home and really close to all onsite facilities.

The Wi-fi connection is weak but wasn’t essential to us.
