Cozy house in heart of Swedish Lapland

Prostorná chatka v srdci švédského Laponska, ideální jako základna pro objevování severu. Po rezervaci nás překvapila informace, že v suterénu domu žije majitelova tetička, na pohodlí ani soukromí to však nemělo žádný vliv. Interiér byl zařízený ve výrazně retro stylu a některé části by si zasloužily menší rekonstrukci. Přesto šlo o příjemné a pohodové ubytování na zajímavém místě.

El único baño disponible podría estar más limpio. También era un poco viejo y eso lo hacía incómodo. El resto de la planta baja de la casa había sido reformado.

Washing machine and plenty of space to dry and take care of hiking equipment were nice things after muddy and rainy weather.

A very cozy house with lots of space and rooms! It’s not modern, but I personally prefer old houses and decor over contemporary style. The house is homely and full of character. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and there were even spices, tea, and coffee available. The covered terrace in the backyard was lovely – perfect for enjoying dinner and breakfast. The double bed downstairs was comfortable. Communication with the host was smooth. There’s a woman living in the basement who maintains the house, but we didn’t hear a sound from her, so it didn’t bother us at all. The house was easy to find. I recommend it for families with children – we’d be happy to come again :)

The shower could use a bit of an update, as the water tended to flow toward the bathroom door while showering. The upstairs was quite hot. However, I consider these to be just “minor imperfections” in an otherwise well-functioning and pleasant overall experience.
