Having to strip your own bedding at the end of your stay takes the edge of an otherwise outstanding and welcoming stay.

Beautiful property in a lovely location. The room was large and light and spacious - super king bed and big bathroom. Absolutely immaculate with every detail carefully considered.

We absolutely loved everything about the Old Coach House. I had read the reviews before booking and so felt confident I had chosen well, but I have to say, it was even better than we expected. The welcome pack of wine and chocolate was a lovely touch. The room, so thoughtfully provided for with everything you could wish for and the most comfortable bed ever.The breakfast,delivered to our room precisely each day at the time requested, was amazing, especially the fruit platter and enjoyed whilst looking out over the fields and watching the steam engine go by. And the hosts, Sue & Carl ,thank you for the tips of where to visit, offers of lifts if needed and especially listening all about how, over many years of hard work, you have so lovingly made the old coach house into what it is today. We visited Plas Newydd, Castell Dinas Bran, Valle Crucis Abbey, the Horseshoe Falls, the Pontcysylite Aquaduct and Chirk Castle, all of which we would recommend. We ate at the Cornmill and Dee Side Cafe Bistro, both lovely. Enjoyed every moment.Thankyou.

Ideal location close to Llangollen but very quiet with lovely views of the countryside. Continental style breakfast choices, served to room at requested time. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, huge bed, seating area and well appointed large bathroom.

Superbly restored coach house full of character. Quiet location and our room had dual aspect windows with lovely views both sides. Bed was so comfortable planning on trying to buy the same mattress for home if we can. Mini fridge in room thoughtfully provided with milk and water. Welcome small bottles of wine, chocolates and personalised greeting card. Excellent friendly and helpful hosts who even gave us a lift to and from concert venue at the Llangollen Pavillion. High spec bathroom facilities and fittings. Continental breakfast served in our room as dining room currently being renovated. Lots of choice on the breakfast menu. Breakfasts were beautifully presented and generous.

Everything. Much more than 5* more like 10*. Everything was perfect. The views from the window were mesmerising, and the steam train passing was a bonus. We stayed in the velvet room. Breakfast was continental, delivered to your room at your requested time, and was whatever you wanted off the list. I would recommend the fruit platter. The host was mainly Sue, who was so genuine and helpful lovely to meet.

This was perfect for us. A lovely welcome, by Sue and Carl to a beautifully renovated building in peaceful surroundings. A super room; very comfortable, well decorated, dual aspect with lovely views. Sue brought breakfast to our room which we enjoyed whilst overlooking the garden.
