Good location

The property was dirty. The bed in the lounge has a small base meaning the mattress is perched precariously and it can not safely be used. There was blood (!!!) on three of the pillows (no pillows protectors used). The mattress protector was visibly dirty. The blind over the bed is a fire risk as it does not open all the way and naturally sits on the lightbulb of the wall light (there is a hole burned into the blind from this). No face cloths provided. Property manager replaced pillows and provided facecloths when asked however message sent via booking.com following our stay has remained unanswered.

The parking at the front of the property was poor. Very difficult to get in and out of. The property its self was basic. Just one sofa which was stuck in the middle of the front room with a single bed. The bedrooms were poorly furnished and one of the bath rooms needed more hooks and better shelving. The shower design meant the whole bath room gets soaked with water. The plug in the bathroom is a normal plug and not one designed for a bathroom so potential safety hazard. The fridge is tiny so just enough for milk and a few basics.

Excellent location. Lovely property. Heat pump was on when we arrived, very welcoming. Would like to have stayed longer.

Beds were very comfortable in the bedrooms. Unfortunately, the single bed in the lounge was very firm. Most uncomfortable.

The location of this house in the middle of Havelock North was brillant. We thought it might be noisy but it wasn't. What was really special though was how understanding and helpful Rebecca our host was, she went out of her way to help us when we were dealing with a family bereavement. Thank you again Rebecca :)

Happy with everything, no complaints

The host was very quick to respond to all my enquiries, both before and during our stay. They kindly had the heat pump going on our arrival too, which was great! They were also very flexible in regards to our changing circumstances.

The bed in the lounge isn't all that comfortable, but the other beds were great. A few more rubbish bins around the place would also be helpful. (In other words, there wasn't much that we didn't like!). If I were to be really picky, it would be great to have the Queen bed in the room with the ensuite...but maybe it doesn't fit?

Home was lovely and clean. Close to everything you need. Will definitely be back again
